Head Teachers

 Juliana Collier graduated with a Diploma of Teaching (Primary) in Brazil and on coming to New Zealand completed the Mauri Ora Certificate from Te Wananga O Aotearoa before beginning her journey in ECE. She holds an AMI Montessori International Certificate, a Diploma of Teaching (ECE) and a Bachelor of Education (Vic). Juliana has commenced studies toward gaining a Master of Education and is also working toward completing her Montessori Diploma. Juliana previously worked for a number of years at Gisborne Montessori before moving to Auckland where she added to her experience in Montessori education.

Quannah Nickerson  has completed her Bachelor of ECE and holds a diploma of Performing Arts. In the past  she has been a student and reliever at our preschool. Four of Quannah's children have attended Beehive 2. Quannah worked as a homebased caregiver while caring for her own children. She is working towards her Montessori Diploma. Maria Montessori's philosophy aligns with her own teaching philosophy, in particular the aspect of respect.

Anna Hibbert qualified as an Early Chidhood teacher in 2008. She has been working at Montessori in 2015 and is looking forward to furthering her knowledge about Montessori teaching practices. She enjoys seeing children develop their independence.

Gillian Stevenson teaches in the Afternoon Programme. She has a diploma of teaching ECE and post graduate qualifications in education. Gillian has taught in a range of early childhood settings, primarily with preschool age children. She teaches to encourage children to develop both a love of learning and confidence in their own developing abilities.
